Sultan-ul-Uloom Junior College was established by the Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society and recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education in 1994. The medium of instruction is English and it admits both boys and girls for 2 years Intermediate course. The college offers quality education for MPC, BPC, CEC & MEC groups.
The Sultan-ul-Uloom Junior College is situated in the heart of the city in area of Banjara Hills. The picturesque surroundings and beautiful landscapes are its trademarks which provide the perfect ambience to the students.
Dr. Anupama Koneru is an M.Pharm, PH.D with an experience of 25 years of experience in teaching and number of publications to her name; she heads the institution with excellence and diligence. She has many papers presented at various conferences, Chaired scientific sessions and is an active member of Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Indian Pharmacological Society and Association of Pharmacy teachers of India. With many awards and accolades to her name, she represents the college on many institutional forums with perfection.
The college functions from 9.00 a.m to 3.45 p.m with a break of 40 minutes for namaz and lunch. Remedial classes are also held for students, who secure less than 60 % marks in any subject. To help and train outstanding and bright students, extra coaching is provided in Star Batch.
Students, who have passed 10th class or equivalent examination from SSC / CBSE / ICSE or any other Board recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, are eligible for admission (Eligibility Certificate from B.I.E is required for students who have passed 10th class examination from any Board other than SSC).
The college admits students, who have passed the qualifying examination in 1stdivison (with 60% or more marks) purely or merit basis. Candidates with 2nd division may be admitted subjects to availability of seats.
There are 4 full-fledged and well equipped laboratories. The laboratories have been adjudged as best in the twin cities by the Board of Intermediate Education.
A well-stocked library with more than 5,500 books and adequate material for EAMCET / NEET Coaching Program. The college also subscribes to many journals and magazines, which enrich the knowledge of the students.
Spacious play grounds are maintained to conduct sports. The college provides specialized coaching for Volley Ball, Base Ball and Foot Ball through experienced and dedicated coaches. To ensure good health of the students, encouragement and lot of emphasis is given for outdoor games.
Separate buildings for boys and girls.
The entire teaching staff of the college is highly qualified, sincere, dedicated and most experienced. Beside subject teaching, much emphasis is laid on personality development, character building and to achieve excellence in educational standards.

In addition to compact academic programs, various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities such as Elocution and Essay writing competitions are held. Students of this college participated in many Inter-college, Essay Writing, Elocution competitions and won accolades. In order to achieve high standard and distinctions, games and sports activities are duly encouraged by the Sports Development Committee of Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society. The college encourages talent of students in games and sports by providing all the required facilities and guidance. Our students have represented the college in inter-district, Inter-college competitions and Junior National Games.
