Mega vaccination drive on 15thJune, 2021 at SUES Campus
A COVID vaccination drive was held at the SUES Campus from 15th June, 2021 in collaboration with GHMC and the Hyderabad city police. The program was inaugurated by Mr. Mohammad Mahmood Ali, Hon’ble Home Minister of Telangana and was also graced by the City police commissioner. The vaccination drive benefited around 5000 people from various communities.
Chief Guest Ms. Shikha Goel, IPS, at the program on ‘Women’s Safety’, organized by SUES on the occasion of Women’s Day 2019. Ms. Rani Reddy, Director, Sakshi Group was also present on the occasion.
Mr. Rajath Kumar, IAS, Chairman, Telangana State Election Commission addressing the Students of SUES on the occasion of GHMC elections in December, 2020. Shri Anjani Kumar, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad was also present on the occasion.
Ms. Seema Mustafa, President, Editors Guild of India, delivered a lecture on relevance of “Mahatma Gandhi” in today’s India. Faculty and students of constituent institution in the Campus attended the program in large numbers.
The Campus psychologist, Dr. M. Suman Roy, organized an awareness program on suicide prevention. The program was titled ‘Working together to prevent Suicide’ was attended by the students of all the constituent colleges of Sultan Ul Uloom Education Society. The program, addressed by Dr. M. Suman Roy, emphasized on inculcating awareness about causes, risk factors, warning signs of potential suicides.
One Student One Tree…
This initiative is in line with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s idea of green and healthy environment. Under the drive, constituent institutions planted diverse species of trees on the campus. Plants which require less water consumption and are also Eco friendly were planted.
