Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy was established in the year 1997 under the aegis of Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society. Institution is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH). B. Pharm program is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) since 2014.
Institution is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956. Our institution has bagged 8 University Gold Medals. The focus has been on quality education and continuous improvement. The institution has continued to exhibit strong academic performance through efforts of qualified faculty, trained supporting staff, need based capital investment on sophisticated lab equipment and above all the unflinching support by the Management of Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society. The multidimensional efforts provide a strong momentum for a secure future in the competitive educational sector. Dr. Anupama Koneru is an M.Pharm, PH.D with an experience of 25 years of experience in teaching and number of publications to her name; she heads the institution with excellence and diligence. She has many papers presented at various conferences, Chaired scientific sessions and is an active member of Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Indian Pharmacological Society and Association of Pharmacy teachers of India. With many awards and accolades to her name, she represents the college on many institutional forums with perfection.

Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy is located in the heart of Hyderabad city, the capital of Telangana, with an eco-friendly, lush-green campus. Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy has a rich infrastructure with latest facilities. The green collar college campus is entirely Wi-Fi enabled, and the seminar halls and classrooms use projectors for visual aid. The institute also has facility of online guest lecturers from anywhere in the world.
The professional societies of the college are meant to facilitate the student involvement in extracurricular activities, by giving room for social welfare/community service activities and personality development and talent exposure. The College organizes many extracurricular events including the Conferences, Cultural fest, Alumni Meet and Sports meet. The institute also provides a gymnasium, a bank and ATM Facility within the college campus, mosque and a cafeteria. Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy runs a good placement cell for the students guiding them through the placement process.

Sultan ul Uloom College of Pharmacy is well equipped with laboratories and equipment to give the students hands on training in the field of Pharmacy. College has excellent laboratory setup to ensure experiential learning for a better grasp of the theoretical aspects of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The college has adequate number of well equipped labs for undergraduate and postgraduate programs in all the major areas of pharmacy. The labs are well furnished and designed to permit students sufficient working space. All security measures have been put in place to assist in case of emergencies.
College has ICT enabled classrooms and seminar halls. The college has been continuously updating and upgrading instruments necessary for the cutting edge technology. Instruments have been purchased through funds from the management and grants from various funding agencies.
Other than working laboratories the college also has a Central Instrumentation room where common instruments as well as instruments requiring air conditioning are kept. Each instrument is operated through a SOP and a log book for each instrument is maintained for efficient functioning. To provide the instrument a non-fluctuating power supply college has installed huge stabilizers and sturdy power connections.
The primary focus is always laid on the skill enhancement and inculcates the culture of research to solve emerging challenges towards a successful career ahead. State-of-the-art Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance and Analysis, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacy Practice, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Computer and Language Lab and other laboratories supported by advanced instruments and well-trained technicians provides opportunities of learning by practically performing the experiments.
Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy has a team of highly qualified and committed faculty in the specializations including Pharmaceutics,Quality assurance, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biotechnology and Pharmacy Practice with rich teaching,research and industry experience. Faculties comprising of Professors, Associate professors and Assistant professors in the respective subjects of Pharmaceutical Sciences is the major strength of the Institution.Strength of faculty is manifested by 8 university Gold Medals. Institute has 10 doctorate faculties and 10 other faculty members pursuing Ph.D who are actively involved in teaching, administrative, R & D activities and produce good number of publications in national and international journals. Faculties are also active in other curricular & co-curricular activities, FDPs, workshops, conferences, social service programs etc.
The Placement committee organizes campus placements and guides the students to enhance their performances in interviews.

SUCP R&D centre or Centre of Excellence is actively involved in research projects of M.Pharm, B.Pharm and Ph.D and in developing intellectual property and in the process of developing new drug delivery systems and formulations, and applying new technology for better processes. Institute has 1 patent granted and 4 patents filed.
The Centre focuses on the areas of organic synthesis, analytical research, dosage form development, pharmacology, bio-equivalence studies and drug delivery systems.

SUCP encourages students to participate in several extracurricular activities and co-curricular activities so that they can improve their soft skills, communication skills, leadership skills and other life skills. Toycathons, quiz, essay and debate competitions, Pharmalive and Escapade on working models and events like JALWA- 17, Fest of Students (Exuberance ), Rubaru program, Empowering Young Global citizen, Voter Awareness Program, Fest (Sparx), Smart India Hackathon 2020.
Students are also actively involved in activities such as paper presentations, poster presentations, craft displaying, drawing, skit, quiz etc. so that students can develop self confidence, organizing skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, leadership skills and ability to work in a team.
Students are also actively involved in enrichment programs like Swacch Bharat Summer Internship,TASK, Institution Innovation Council (IIC),NISP, ARIA, NSS, UBA, MGNCRE Awareness programs like Cancer Awareness Program, Migraine Awareness Program, Organ Donation awareness Program, Pink Ribbon Walk for awareness on breast cancer, Telangana State Kanti Velugu, Awareness Walk on World Alzheimer’s Day, Medical camps, Blood donation camp, Swacch Action Plan in adopted villages.
